About Us
"Log Kya Kahenge?" (What will people say/think, a question about others’ judgements) @lkkpodcast in which we will discuss issues surrounding mental health in underprivileged and underrepresented communities such as within South Asian culture. With every episode, our goal is to try and bring awareness to various topics in mental health and create a platform on which people from these communities can share their experiences and stories. If you would like to make any suggestions for discussions, please DM us at our IG handle mentioned above or here. So far, we have the option for people to share their stories anonymously. This is just a platform for people to have the ability to share their thoughts, worries or start a discussion. We believe everyone can benefit from the relatability that comes from shared or similar experiences. This is, by NO means, a therapy session. Please note that while LKK is created by students who have extensively studied sociology, psychology and the human brain throughout their educational journeys, we cannot provide professional or medical advice. *NOTE: Please seek professional help or services if you or a loved one is undergoing a serious mental health condition or situation. With a frozen coffee🥤in hand, you can find Kinza in her Nike’s walking 1024 miles per hour down Park Avenue getting to her next meeting. 💻 Having told her parents she wants to be a designer👩🏽🎨instead of a doctor after pursuing a double major in biology and design (they eventually made their peace with it🙃), she graduated with her Master’s in Interaction Design from School of Visual Arts, NYC.👩🏽💻Leading strategy of digital products for companies and overseeing four of her own start-ups, her love lies between a tie of art, psychology and entrepreneurship.🖤
Minahil Kasher (Co-Host)
Many from the desi aunty community would call Minahil a “patakha larki”💥translation: a loud and crazy girl). She hates cooking but loves eating,🍜🥟hates drama but loves when she is the one creating it. 💁🏽♀️Hailing from the streets of School of Visual Arts from New York City, 👩🏽🎨she is the abstract creative human who loves playing to the tune of her own heart and mind.👑Leading design and creative strategy for a number of initiatives, Minahil is a late night owl🦉, humming to lo-fi beats🎵🎶 and often with a sandwich full of pickles. 🥒🥪

Fatima Kasher
With a deep passion for fighting against inequality and pursuing justice, Fatima loves when her voice is heard 🗣 She welcomes productive arguments and enjoys learning about new things. In the future, she hopes to become a lawyer, (if she can stop procrastinating 🙃) Oftentimes, she can be found in the kitchen cooking up a new concoction or baking cookies 🍪, and burning it off later in the gym 🏋🏽♀️Her ideal day is chilling by the pool with her friends and a GIANT bowl of watermelon, jamming to some music.

Shayan Ali
Shayan Ali is a Cambridge graduate and an up and coming London-based filmmaker. Although he mainly works as a director in the indie short film scene, Shayan has also been part of a number of blockbuster film crews for feature productions like 'Men in Black International', Amazon Original series 'Jack Ryan' and Guy Ritchie's 'The Gentlemen'. His visually striking work aims to look at the complexities of human emotion; to help audiences achieve a new perspective by presenting stripped back, intimate and raw character studies. Having grown up in London and Lahore, he has a strong bond with his Pakistani heritage and is incredibly passionate about South Asian representation in front of and behind the camera. As a director, he aims to build a versatile portfolio of films that bring engaging and thought-provoking stories to his audiences. ✨🌟

Hey I’m Ram Lamba and manage an Instagram page called Desi Brotherhood , I'm a beach boy from Brighton, UK that is super creative, passionate and driven to exceed expectations. I love swimming in the sea, kayaking, meditating, travelling, vibing to music and being around my best friends to create some unforgettable memories. I recently went travelling for 8 months in South East Asia and India, it was the best experience ever and now I’m living in the big City to be part of the hustle and bustle of London!

I'm Bobby and I manage my page @bobbyspeaks_ which is a platform to empower men, speak out about taboo topics we face, ruffle features and essentially be somewhere people can visit to feel supported and loved.
